ISO File

How to extract the contents from an .ISO file without burning the .ISO to a disc.

ISO file is not a typical file a Windows user can click on and automatically access it's data.  They will first have to burn the .ISO file to a disc in order to extract the contents then run it from the disc.

Another option is to virtually mount and access ISO files as a virtual device which means blah to most users.

The standard ISO extraction process is pretty much pointless for anyone who has an urgent need for quick access to their data.

Pismo File Mount Audit Package is a freeware software which can easily simplify the process - easy as  1 - Right click 2 - Mount 3 - Access

Demonstration screenshots:

1. Right click on .ISO file and select Mount

2.  Leave all mount options as default

3. After mounting you will notice the immediate change of view as a normal Windows folder

You should select all and copy the contents to another local folder on the computer.

4. After contents have been extracted right click on the folder and select Unmount so that it is no longer in use by Pismo File Mount.
